The Effects of Foreign Investors on Domestic Firms-An Analysis of Dividends, Investments, Donations and the Acquistion of Treasury Stocks-

Abstract
This paper empirically looks into the effects of the foreign Investor on domestic firms. In particular, we examine the dividends, investments, donations and acquistion of treasury stocks of domestic firms which invested from the foreign investors. The major findings are follows. The relationship between foreign ownership and firms' dividend was positive. But we could not find any relations between foreign ownership and investments, donations and acquistion of treasury stocks. This findings mean that the foreign investors are not interested in only short term performance.
