Asian Tax Journal Vol. 22 No. 3 (2021), pp. 69-88
Abstract
Hometax service in 2015 is an integrated system of a new concept, and various analyzes are needed for modification and supplementation to satisfy user needs. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed what interests in the system by utilizing the big data of numerous hometax service users using social networks. For Big Data analysis, programs such as Textom, Ucinet, and NetDraw were used. As a result, in frequency analysis, ‘application guide’, ‘research’, ‘year-end settlement service guide’, and ‘guide’ were ranked in the top ranking. Interest in year-end settlement guidance, application, and research was high. In the overall network analysis, ‘report’, ‘application’, ‘amount’, ‘service’, ‘issuance’, ‘operator’, ‘inquiry’, ‘payment’, and ‘access’ are at the center. This means that the “Home Tax” site is focused on the access method and the actual tax amount for how business operators report, apply, inquire, issue, and pay. In centrality analysis and CONCOR analysis, there existed connectivity between clusters in hometax registration and application, report and payment, inquiry, income tax payment amount and certificate, documents, receipts, points, and telephone consultations by homepage or mobile. The IRS needs to take action on these words.
